Good news from the authority that SSC Exam Result 2012 of Bangladesh will be available on May 7, 2012. Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid told the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations result will be published on May 07, 2012.  The education board has confirmed that Secondary School Certificate (SSC)/ Dakhil/ SSC (vocational) examinations result 2012 will be published online at Bangladesh education board’s official site. The result sheets will be handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around at 10:00am on that day.

The examinees would be able to collect their results after the press meet, Nahid added. An agreement with Teletalk has been signed to provide SSC results through mobile phones. In addition, the SSC results 2012 will also be made available on the board’s website.Examinees can collect the results from their educational institutions or websites of the education boards or on the Teletalk mobile phone, the ministry said in a statement. Prior to the announcement, he will submit a copy of the SSC results 2012 to the prime minister Sheikh Hasina on 10:00am in the morning.

We know, As Bangladesh government rules the exam result should be veiled between 60 days from the ending day of ssc exam. Ten education boards of Bangladesh’s (Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong, Comilla, Dinajpur, Jessore, Rajshahi, Sylhet, Technical (VOC) & Madrasah) all boards result will be published at a time. All education boards are preparing to publish the SSC exam results on May 7, 2012. Examinees can collect their SSC results from their educational institutes or Bangladesh education board’s website.

This year total of 14,20,057 examinees(About 7,35,229 male and 6,84,828 female students) was appeared in 2012 SSC and correspondent examinations at 2,464 centers under 10 education boards of Bangladesh. Under general education board about 10.52 lakh students appear while Dakhil (secondary level of madrasa) 2.75 lakh students and 91,158 students under Vocational in that SSC exam 2012.

 Educational institutions of Dhaka district are requested to gather information from Dhaka board while the institutions from outside Dhaka districts are requested to contact respective district education offices to know their e-mail addresses.

Last year, 1,206,019 candidates sat for the exams under the 10 education boards with overall pass percentage of 82.31. Pass rates of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Comilla, Jessore, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet and Dinajpur general education boards are 84.63, 80.32, 85.85, 84.04, 74.27, 78.30, 81.23 and 77.48 percent respectively. According to the statistics of 2011, a total of 76,749 obtained GPA-5 distinctions.
